How can you be more focused and productive? By removing everything from your to-do list that isn't absolutely critical to your work, as well as anything that prevents you from getting into a flow state.
When I first decided to hire a VA, I felt overwhelmed by the possibilities. There were so many things on my plate that I was either bad at or didn't want to do anymore! Deciding what tasks to outsource was a process of prioritisation: what's the most important thing for me to complete? Which projects do I need help with but am not willing to let go of just yet? Determining what tasks are crucial for me personally means I'm able to work more effectively and efficiently on those projects, without having to worry about the other things on my task list.
You can also use this productivity time for self-care! Take a long lunch with some friends, spend an hour window shopping at lunchtime (my personal fave), or just get home earlier so you have time for yourself in the evening.
There are many benefits to hiring a virtual assistant. One of my favorites is the fact that you'll have more time to spend doing what you love.
Your list of tasks will get shorter and your responsibilities will get lighter. You can spend less time working and more time with family, friends, or even just watching television by yourself.
Your free time is precious, so don't waste it on things that aren't important to you!
When you hire a virtual assistant, you'll be able to focus on the parts of your business that only you can do. This will help you grow your business faster than ever before, simply because no one knows your business like you do. Whether it's building relationships with influencers, writing new blog content, or getting on phone calls and closing new clients, when you're spending more time doing these things that are core to what makes your business successful, then yeah—your business will probably grow faster than ever before.
With all of this extra time available to work with clients on the parts of their businesses they can't delegate (because let's face it—as much as we wish our clients enjoyed handling invoicing and social media just as much as us VAs do!), many clients find themselves booking up their schedules more completely than ever before. And for those who have set monthly caps for how many clients they'll take on at one time? Well … if my experience is anything to go by, then being able to focus less on the tedious tasks behind running a business means being able to attract more high-quality clients in a shorter period of time (which means fewer nights working until midnight just to keep up).
