About

Empathy, Experience, and Steady Support

I’m Carol-Ann, most people call me Caz, founder of Griffin VA.

I’ve spent nearly two decades helping businesses run more smoothly by bringing clarity to spaces that feel messy, pressured or overwhelming. I'm a project minded problem solver by nature, but what truly sets me apart is how I support people: calmly, compassionately and without judgement.

Living with ADHD myself means I understand first-hand what its like to hold too much in your head, to feel unheard, or to constantly question whether you're doing things "the right way". My work is shaped by that understanding, support that meets you where you are, rather than trying to force you into someone elses system.

What I bring to the table

Professionally, my background spans operations, project management, administration and team support, working with businesses of all sizes across multiple sectors. I’m PRINCE2 qualified, hold a BA in Business Administration, and bring 19 years of real-world experience into every partnership.

In practice, that means:

I don’t just help you do the work, I help you decide what’s worth doing in the first place. I look at the bigger picture, simplify what’s over-complicated, and create systems that give you time, clarity and confidence.

ADHD-informed, Access to Work experienced

A significant part of my work focuses on supporting neurodivergent professionals, particularly those accessing Access to Work funding.

Alongside my lived experience, I’m trained in Mental Health First Aid, counselling skills, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and youth mental health support. This allows me to offer support that’s not only effective, but emotionally intelligent and sustainable.

You don’t need to mask, over-explain, or have everything figured out.

We’ll work through it together, at your pace.

Life beyond the laptop

Travel has always shaped who I am. I’ve worked and travelled internationally, experiencing different cultures, ways of working, and ways of relating, all of which still influence how I build relationships today.

Life looks a little different now. I’m a mum to a baby, part of a busy blended family, and still very much someone who finds balance through movement, whether that’s exploring Christmas markets across Switzerland, France and Germany, or walking the coast near our home in West Wales.

The sea is my reset button. Calm, perspective and space to think, the same qualities I aim to build into my clients’ working lives.

How I work

I don’t believe in jargon, hacks, or fixing people.

This is what I believe in:

  • Listening properly
  • Asking good questions
  • Bringing steady support when things feel heavy
  • Creating systems that work with your brain, not against it

If you’re looking for someone to quietly steady the ship and help you reclaim your time and headspace, you’re in the right place.

Working with trusted associates

When additional support is needed, I work with a small network of carefully selected associates who share the same values, calm, clarity, discretion and ADHD-aware working.

I remain closely involved at all times, ensuring continuity, quality, and a single point of accountability.

I’m also currently exploring ADHD-informed training for assistants and support professionals, rooted in real-world practice rather than theory.
